Autism Support in Pakistan

Autism isn't an illness to be cured. It's a different way of processing the world, and support is about helping a child manage what's genuinely difficult — communication, sensory overload, change — while respecting who they are.

Browse verified psychologists and pick the one who fits you.

Effective Treatment

Evidence-based approaches, matched to how it shows up for you.

Personalized Therapy

A plan that moves at your pace, not a fixed number of sessions.

Community Support

You don't have to carry this alone. Aoo baat karain.

Why Therapy for Autism Matters

Understanding, not fixing

The aim isn't making an autistic child appear non-autistic. It's helping them manage what's genuinely hard.

Communication that works for them

Whether that's speech, gestures or something else — the goal is being understood.

Support with sensory overwhelm

Noise, light and texture can be genuinely painful. There are practical ways to reduce that load.

Help with change

Transitions are often the hardest part. Preparation and structure make a real difference.

Parents who understand

Much of the work is with parents — reading their child's signals and responding differently.

School and home together

Consistency across both settings matters more than what happens in either one alone.

Types of Therapy for Autism

Group 1261152996.png

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)

Structured work reinforcing communication and daily-living skills.

Widely used and debated — your psychologist should explain the approach and respect your view on it.

Speech and Language Therapy

Support with communication, verbal and non-verbal.

Often the highest priority where speech is delayed.

Occupational Therapy Principles

Practical work on sensory processing, motor skills and daily routines.

Frequently the change that helps most day to day.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Adapted for autistic children, usually for anxiety alongside autism.

Effective when adjusted for how the child processes information.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions people ask before they book. If yours isn't here, ask us.

What is autism therapy?

Support for an autistic child and their family — communication, sensory needs, routines and anxiety.

Can therapy cure autism?

No, and it shouldn't try. Autism isn't an illness. Therapy supports a child with what's genuinely difficult while respecting who they are.

Can you diagnose autism online?

Formal assessment usually needs in-person work with a multidisciplinary team. A psychologist can discuss concerns and point you toward assessment.

How many sessions will I need?

It varies. Some people find a handful of sessions enough; others work over several months. Your psychologist will talk it through after the first session rather than committing you to a package upfront.

How much is a session, and how do I pay?

Each psychologist sets their own fee and session length — you'll see theirs on their booking page before confirming. Sessions start from PKR 1,499. Payment is online, by card, Easypaisa or JazzCash.

Can I choose my psychologist?

Yes. Browse the profiles, read how each one works, and book whoever feels right. If it isn't the right fit, you can switch.

Is what I share confidential?

Yes. Sessions are private between you and your psychologist. The limited exceptions — where there's a risk to your safety or someone else's — are the same ones that apply to therapy anywhere.
