Online Therapy for Anxiety in Pakistan

Anxiety isn't just worrying. It's a body that stays switched on — chest tight, mind racing ahead to everything that could go wrong, tired but unable to settle. It's one of the most treatable things a psychologist works with, and it usually improves faster than people expect.

Why Therapy for Anxiety Matters

Name what's actually happening

Anxiety often feels like something is wrong with you. Understanding it as a system stuck on alert changes how you relate to it.

Learn what your body is doing

A racing heart and shallow breathing are frightening if you think something's wrong with you. Knowing what's happening physically takes some of the fear out of it.

Stop avoiding, slowly

Avoiding what scares you works for an hour and makes it worse over months. Therapy helps you go back, in steps small enough to manage.

Question the thought, not yourself

Anxiety produces very convincing predictions. Therapy gives you a way to test them instead of believing them automatically.

Sleep and eat again

Anxiety usually breaks sleep and appetite first. Those are often the first things to improve.

Have tools when it returns

Anxiety comes back in stressful periods. The point is knowing what works for you before it does.

Types of Therapy for Anxiety

Group 1261152996.png

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

The most researched approach for anxiety. It works on the link between what you predict, how you feel and what you avoid.

You learn to catch anxious predictions and test them, rather than arranging your life around them.

Exposure Therapy

Facing what you avoid, gradually and with support, in an order you agree on.

It sounds harder than it is — you start far below what you fear, and your body learns the alarm was wrong.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Rather than fighting anxious thoughts, ACT works on changing your relationship with them.

Useful when you've tried to argue your anxiety away and found it argues back.

Mindfulness-Based Approaches

Practical attention training — noticing when you've been pulled into the future, and coming back.

Not relaxation for its own sake. It's a skill that gets easier with practice.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions people ask before they book. If yours isn't here, ask us.

What is anxiety therapy?

A private space to understand what your anxiety is responding to, and to build ways of handling it, with a clinical psychologist.

How do I know it's anxiety and not just stress?

Stress usually has a cause and eases when the cause passes. If worry has become constant, hard to control, and is affecting sleep, work or the things you'll do, that's worth talking about.

Will I have to face the things I'm scared of?

Only at a pace you agree to. Exposure work is gradual and you're never pushed into something you haven't consented to.

How many sessions will I need?

It varies. Some people find a handful of sessions enough; others work over several months. Your psychologist will talk it through after the first session rather than committing you to a package upfront.

How much is a session, and how do I pay?

Each psychologist sets their own fee and session length — you'll see theirs on their booking page before confirming. Sessions start from PKR 1,499. Payment is online, by card, Easypaisa or JazzCash.

Can I choose my psychologist?

Yes. Browse the profiles, read how each one works, and book whoever feels right. If it isn't the right fit, you can switch.

Is what I share confidential?

Yes. Sessions are private between you and your psychologist. The limited exceptions — where there's a risk to your safety or someone else's — are the same ones that apply to therapy anywhere.
