Therapy for Behavioural Difficulties

Behavioural health covers the patterns that get in the way — anger that arrives too fast, habits you can't shift, reactions that damage things you care about. It's less about a diagnosis and more about what's happening and what can change.

Why Therapy for Behavioural Difficulties Matters

Look at the pattern, not the incident

One argument is an event. A pattern is something you can work on, and therapy helps you see which you're dealing with.

Find the trigger

Behaviour that seems to come from nowhere usually has a trigger. Naming it is most of the work.

Slow the reaction down

There's a gap between feeling something and acting on it. Therapy widens that gap.

Repair what's strained

Behaviour affects the people around you. Therapy can include repairing that, not just changing the behaviour.

Understand the function

Most difficult behaviour is doing a job — relieving stress, avoiding something. Knowing the job makes it replaceable.

Build something sustainable

Willpower runs out. Therapy works on changes that hold when you're tired.

Types of Therapy for Behavioural Difficulties

Group 1261152996.png

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Identifying the thoughts that precede the behaviour and changing what follows.

Practical and structured — you leave with things to try, not just insights.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

Skills for intense emotion, impulse control and difficult relationships.

Especially useful where the behaviour is emotion-driven rather than habitual.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Working out what actually matters to you, and moving toward it.

Useful when you know what you should do and keep not doing it.

Motivational Interviewing

Working through mixed feelings about changing rather than being pushed.

Helpful when part of you wants to change and part of you doesn't.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions people ask before they book. If yours isn't here, ask us.

What is behavioural health therapy?

Work with a psychologist on patterns of behaviour that are causing problems — anger, impulsivity, habits, or difficulty coping.

Is this different from anxiety or depression therapy?

There's overlap. Behavioural health focuses on what you're doing and why, rather than only on how you feel.

What if I've been told the problem is other people?

Therapy doesn't start by deciding who's at fault. It starts with what's happening and what you can change.

How many sessions will I need?

It varies. Some people find a handful of sessions enough; others work over several months. Your psychologist will talk it through after the first session rather than committing you to a package upfront.

How much is a session, and how do I pay?

Each psychologist sets their own fee and session length — you'll see theirs on their booking page before confirming. Sessions start from PKR 1,499. Payment is online, by card, Easypaisa or JazzCash.

Can I choose my psychologist?

Yes. Browse the profiles, read how each one works, and book whoever feels right. If it isn't the right fit, you can switch.

Is what I share confidential?

Yes. Sessions are private between you and your psychologist. The limited exceptions — where there's a risk to your safety or someone else's — are the same ones that apply to therapy anywhere.
