Why Therapy for Separation & Divorce Matters
A neutral space to think
Everyone around you has an opinion. A psychologist doesn't — they help you work out yours.
Decide, or decide not to
Counselling doesn't push toward separation or away from it. It helps you stop going in circles.
Protect the children
How separation is handled matters more to children than whether it happens. That can be planned.
Grieve what ends
Even a necessary separation is a loss. Space to grieve it makes what comes next easier.
Reduce the damage
Anger and hurt drive decisions people regret. Therapy slows that down.
Work out what comes next
Separation raises questions about identity, family and future. Those deserve their own attention.

Braindost Stories
look at the minds we’ve brought into the light!

S., 22 Lahore
Walking into class or speaking up used to make my heart race and mind go blank. Reading Braindost’s blog, I realized it was social anxiety. Therapy felt like a hopeful step. It helped me speak up and finally feel like myself around others.

M., 26 · Islamabad
Growing up around constant shouting, I learned to stay quiet. Even now, loud voices make my chest tighten. Through therapy with Braindost, I realized it was childhood PTSD. Now I’m slowly finding peace.

H. & F., 34 · Lahore
Small issues grew into long silences. We drifted apart and felt lonely even together. Couples therapy at Braindost helped us open up, listen without defense, and slowly reconnect—building empathy, understanding, and hope again.
FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
The questions people ask before they book. If yours isn't here, ask us.
What is divorce counselling?
Support through deciding about, or going through, a separation — including how to handle it with children and family.
Is this to save the marriage or end it?
Neither. It's to help you decide clearly, and then handle whichever decision you reach with less damage.
Can we come together if we're separating?
Yes, and many do — particularly where there are children and you'll need to co-parent.
How many sessions will I need?
It varies. Some people find a handful of sessions enough; others work over several months. Your psychologist will talk it through after the first session rather than committing you to a package upfront.
How much is a session, and how do I pay?
Each psychologist sets their own fee and session length — you'll see theirs on their booking page before confirming. Sessions start from PKR 1,499. Payment is online, by card, Easypaisa or JazzCash.
Can I choose my psychologist?
Yes. Browse the profiles, read how each one works, and book whoever feels right. If it isn't the right fit, you can switch.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes. Sessions are private between you and your psychologist. The limited exceptions — where there's a risk to your safety or someone else's — are the same ones that apply to therapy anywhere.
